Daniel Brookoff
4/28/11 Program dedicated to his memory Dr. Daniel Brookoff, co-founder of the Methodist Comprehensive Pain Clinic in Memphis, TN scheduled guest host for April 7, died April 13th. He served thousands of patients desperate for pain relief. His knowledge of biochemical and pharmacological interactions enabled him to provide individualized, unique, and innovative treatments for patients who had previously been unresponsive to traditional medication regimens. Dr. Brookoff patiently listened to every individual’s life story, getting to know them intimately, and making himself available to them whenever they needed him. He recognized the pain of humanity and sought to bring comfort to all who came to see him. Patients would learn of him from others suffering with similar illnesses and travel to see him from all over the country, and then return whenever more relief was needed.
