John Waples
Dr. John Waples is a board certified oncologist and hematologist in Huntsville Alabama. He is the Medical Director of the Stem Cell Transplant Program and Staff Physician at the Clearview Cancer Institute. He co-authored numerous journal articles related to stem cell transplantation. He is the writer of the words to the Country music song “Every Dog has its Day.” He’s an avid hunter and holds the record in Tennessee for the highest-ranked turkey ever and 8th nationally. Dr. Waples will discuss the organization “Kids Hunting for a Cure,” a non-profit group that takes child cancer patients on hunting trips. The money raised goes to children’s cancer research.
