Susan Penfield

Susan Penfield is a Senior Vice President specializing in the use of information technology in the national health industry. Her focus includes developing IT modernization strategies to transform regulatory, safety, payment, electronic health record, and public health systems. Ms. Penfield provides consulting services for every major federal health-related organization including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and Department of Health and Human Services. She has also worked in the commercial health sector. For Booz Allen, Susan leads the Systems Development Center for Excellence. She is an advocate for women and is the co-chair of the Firm-wide Women’s Agenda, and serves on boards for Healthy Women, Women in Technology, Women’s Center, and the National Institutes of Health Children’s Inn She holds a BS in Technology Management from Lock Haven University and a Certificate in Management from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business.
