Eddie Brousard

Eddie met the Navigators at Texas A & M and enjoyed four years of spiritual mentoring with them before graduating from Texas A & M in 1978 with a B.S. degree in Zoology, PreMedicine. He taught chemistry at Navasota High School (Texas), then joined the staff of The Navigators and moved to the University of Illinois for staff training in 1980. Eddie’s varied ministry experiences include student ministry at Tuskegee Institute (Alabama) and Memphis State University (Tennessee), church ministry as Pastor of Discipleship at Lamar Terrace Baptist Church (Memphis) and helping plant Crown of Love Evangelical Free Church (Chicago) (a Spanish-speaking church). Eddie is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he completed the Master of Arts degree in New Testament. Eddie’s interest in intercultural ministry led him to Moscow, Russia where he served as In-country Training Director for the CoMission. Eddie served as Vice President of Diversity of the US Navigators for ten years before stepping into his current role as Senior Vice President and Associate Director, US Field Ministries. Eddie loves languages, especially Spanish, Russian and German. He also enjoys the ocean, and scuba diving.
