Tom Campbell

Tom Campbell with majors in Math and Physics from Bethany College, a master's in Physics from Purdue began PhD work at the University of Virginia specializing in experimental nuclear physics. His thesis explored excited states of the NA21 nucleus. He left UVA before completing his doctorate to work for DOD contractors in the national missile defense program. He has been consultant for NASA within the Aries I program. Tom began researching altered states of consciousness in the 1970s with Bob Monroe at Monroe Laboratories for the study of consciousness. A drug free consciousness pioneer, he design experiments, develop technology for creating specific altered states and was the subject of study. For the past thirty years, Campbell has focused on scientifically exploring the properties, boundaries and abilities of consciousness.
