Debra Ray is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA, and a certified Yoga, Pilates and Silver Sneakers Instructor. She has been teaching at the YMCA in Tallahassee, FL for over 10 years, and practicing Hatha Yoga for about 15 years. Debra describes yoga as a pleasurable exercise, where the mind and body fluidly move from one pose to the next as in a dance. With each mindful breath, the body enjoys expanding and opening, then folding and releasing like a flower. It's good to see the benefits, not only on the mat, but in daily life, as one becomes more balanced, centered and whole.
