Kristin Jacobson
Kristin Jacobson is the Co- Founder and President, Autism Deserves Equal Coverage; As part of a more than 20 year career the healthcare industry, Kristin has advocated for autism related causes for over 6 years, leading the statewide effort to pass autism insurance reform in California. In 2009, Kristin co-founded Autism Deserves Equal Coverage to help families access to health care treatment through private insurance. Kristin has testified numerous times before the California Blue Ribbon Commission on Autism, Senate Select Committee on Autism and at California legislative panels. Kristin began her career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, earned her MBA from Stanford University where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and has spent her career advocating for autism insurance rights through a variety of committees including the Alliance of California Autism Organizations, Autism Speaks California and as a member of the California Autism Task Force.
