With operations in the United States, Canada, China, UK and Mexico, Best Buy is a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services with a commitment to growth and innovates. Best Buy family brands and partnerships collectively generates more than $50 billion annual revenue and approximately 155, 000 employees. Mr. Eduardo Garcia Fabregat started the project in Mexico from scratch and personally developed the growth strategy, the credit strategy; as well, he designed the merchandise strategy for Mexico, taking in consideration the market conditions (Socio-economic and demographic segmentation as well as the value segments & need clusters). He opened the first store just 11 months after he was hired. Mr. Fabregat has a MBA from the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey and is a Certified Public Accountant recognized by the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. He is certified in Phases I – VI and IX of the Adizes Methodology.
