Meg Erskine

Meg Erskine grew up in Houston, Texas and moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas and hasn’t left since. She received her B.S. in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology. Following graduation she worked as an endangered species biologist in Central Texas and for 5 years as the Texas State Bat Biologist for Texas Parks and Wildlife. She is co-founder, with Johnson Doe, Paul Tiah and Sarah Stranahan, of the Multicultural Refugee Coalition in Austin, TX. Meg received her Certificate in Non-profit Management and Leadership in 2009 and, as MRC’s Executive Director, has led the organization in its formation to where it is today.
