Neeru Khosla

Neeru Khosla is Co-Founder and Executive Director of CK-12 Foundation, a non-profit launched in 2006, which aims to reduce the cost of textbook materials for the K-12 market both in the US and worldwide. She wants the rigor and accountability of for-profit models to apply to non-profits. Neeru is a member of the Board at The Nueva School in Hillsborough, California, where she has served since 1997, caters to gifted and talented students, and is internationally recognized. She is on the Advisory Board of the American India Foundation, and previously served as trustee of the Pacific Vascular Research Foundation and Connexions, a Rice University open-source project. Neeru is a founding member of the K-12 Initiative of the D-School (Hasso Plattner Institute of Design) at Stanford University. She also serves on the National Advisory Board for DonorsChoose, an organization dedicated to addressing the scarcity and inequitable distribution of learning materials in U.S. public schools.
