Wayne Stofsky

Wayne Stofsky, has a Master of Science Degree in Sports Administration, and is President of Cooper City Optimist Club (CCO), a youth sports organization that runs seven different sports and has over 5,000 annual registrations. As a player, Wayne played professionally for the Salt Lake City Trappers of the Pioneer League and was a player/coach for Piacenza Red Devil Baseball in the Italian League. In college, Wayne played for Louisiana State University and was part of two College World Series teams coached by Hall of Famer Skip Bertman and in 1990 was named a Pre-Season All-America by ESPN. Wayne Stofsky, as owner and director of the Broward Baseball Academy, strives to have the premier baseball and softball training facility in South Florida. The program helps players improve their skills, teaches them to respect the game and makes sure they have fun.
