Dr. Nerina Garcia-Arcement

Dr. Nerina Garcia-Arcement is a licensed clinical psychologist at Williamsburg Therapy and Wellness in Brooklyn, NY and clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center. She earned a BA in Psychology from Stanford University, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. Dr. Garcia-Arcement trained and conducted clinical research at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Rockefeller University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Garcia-Arcement worked at Bellevue Hospital’s World Trade Center Environmental Health Center (WTC EHC) Mental Health Program with individuals affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Dr. Garcia-Arcement specializes in working with individuals dealing with life transitions, stress, anxiety and depression and uses a combination of cognitive behavior therapy and insight oriented techniques to help patients.
