JEFF HAYZLETT
Recently I was fortunate to hear a dynamic and extremely pragmatic speaker who absolutely wowed an audience that had been exposed to all the great speakers on the planet. Jeff is a global business expert, highly creative with a unique ability to cut through the bullshit, working with some of the world’s biggest companies. He is a celebrated author, his first book ‘The Mirror Test’ is a must read and I have just finished reading his second book ‘Running the Gauntlet’. This is a book about many aspects of business, but the most powerful for me was the need for all of us to embrace change, knowing what you need to do and having the intestinal fortitude and the perseverance to see it through. Jeff believes that fear, apathy and lack of personal responsibility turns a good company into a dead company. This was evidenced when as Chief Marketing office and Vice President of the Eastman Kodak company, he tried to convince the company to change. They didn’t, wouldn’t or couldn’t, and failed.
