Ralph Silva
Ralph Silva is a VP of Banking Strategies for HfS Research, covering the strategic imperatives of universal banks throughout EMEA. A broadcaster appearing daily on the BBC, CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg TV, Ralph has also presented at IPO roadshows and industry shows including SIBOS, European Banking industry fair, CBIT, and FinExpo. His research focuses on the primary issues affecting diversified global banks, global IT providers, consumer goods and the retail industry. He has written extensively on channel management, branding and marketing, strategic imperatives, CRM, cross border issues, global regulations, sourcing, industry consolidation and payments. Ralph’s career began as an investment banker managing the IPO process for financial and IT companies in Toronto, followed by managing a $400 million small cap portfolio in California. He became a Gartner analyst focused on the financial services industry, and served as the first full-time analyst for TowerGroup in Europe.
