Marcia Meyer
Marcia Meyer is the Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and Founder of The Be Kind People Project, a nationwide 501c3 non-profit focusing on delivering youth-relevant learning opportunities that inspire humanity, academic achievement, civility, and healthy living so that America’s student generation will grow into respectful, responsible, and caring citizens and leaders. Marcia has re-defined what being a full-time volunteer after retirement can look like through her work with The Be Kind People Project. She had a successful corporate career as a senior executive in retail management, retiring from PetSmart almost 20 years ago. Marcia is an elected member of The Committee of 200, a group of the most pre-eminent business women in America, and is a United States delegate to the World Kindness Movement. She received the Hon Kachina Award for Exceptional Arizona volunteerism in 2015 and was named one of The Most Outstanding Women in Business by The Phoenix Business Journal in spring 2019.
