Nell Sloane, Principal, Capital Trading Group LP Nell Sloane began her career over 29 years ago at the Chicago Futures Exchanges. She began her career in the industry by working for a grain trader at the CBOT. While handling trade execution, reconciliation and Capital Raising, she also became a featured contributor to Daily Metals Commentaries for 321 Gold, Kitco, Silver-Investor.com and FreeMarketNews.com and periodically for the Moore Research Center. Nell eventually launched her own commodity newsletter providing fundamental and technical analysis entitled, “The Opening Belle”. She has been listed by a variety of financial publications as a “broker to use”. These publications include, Hume Super Investors Files, TWMPMM trading course by Ken Roberts, Opportunities in Options by David Caplan, McMaster On Line by R.E. McMaster Ms. Sloane was also featured in “The Art of the Trade” published by McGraw Hill. She speaks at numerous financial seminars and is a contributor on financial radio shows. To provide further diversification amongst various FCM’s (Futures Commission Merchants), Nell and Patrick Lafferty formed Capital Trading Group LP (www.ctgtrading.com). CTG is an investment firm specializing in trade execution and account management for today's leading Commodity Trading Advisors. Some of the clearing relationships CTG has are with ABN AMRO, FC Stone, Cunningham Clearing, R.J. O’Brien, RCG, and OEC. In addition to being principal and an associated person of CTG, Nell holds her securities registration to work with one institutional trader and matching high net worth clients with those that are within the criteria the client requests. Ms. Sloane, presently is a member of Vistage International, which is the world’s leading chief executive organization. Vistage is located in 15 countries and over 14,500 members helping business owners make better decisions and becoming better leaders in their communities. She is an active participant in raising money for charities such as American Cancer Society, Diabetes Foundation and Make a Wish. Nell is a proud mother of a Marine and a son that just entered College to major in finance. During her spare time she loves to golf, horseback ride and travel.
