Bill Wertman
Bill Wertman is the CEO for Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. in Tallahassee, Florida. Bill has been with Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. since January 2006. Bill is also an adjunct instructor with the FSU College of Social Work and the Division of Social Work at Thomas University. Bill serves as a field placement supervisor for social work interns in their clinical rotations for the FSU College of Social Work and is currently supervising interns at Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. who are interested in Gerontological social work and two students who are currently in rotations with other agencies. Bill is currently the Community Outreach Chair for NASW-FL Big-Bend Unit. Areas of interest include Alzheimer’s disease, elder depression, and the combined areas of religiosity and faith as healing interventions and the implications for caregiver coping strategies.
