Alexander Westgarth
My guest today has a profession that is really quite different. In his time he has been a camera operator, a producer, and an editor for short films and documentaries for both TV and film. He has been a senior broker for nearly 10 years with upmarket wine companies in London, and of all things, has built a violin. So with all these skills to his bow, excuse the pun, what does Alexander do now? He founded a company called Westgarth Wine Investment Brokers who are located in both Los Angeles and in London. The very sophisticated Westgarth brochure says that wine is not just for the privileged few: but an ideal investment choice for everyday investors looking to diversify their portfolios. If you choose wine you’ll benefit from a proven market that is stable, relatively detached from the mainstream, and consistently shows double-digit returns. What’s more it goes on, wine offers you a great hedge against inflation. I thought I'd get Alexander on the show to tell us how we can all get rich while enjoying a glass of red.
