Monika Anderson is the founder the group; “They Did not Die In Vain and will Never Be Forgotten”. Monika became a student of this epidemic after burying one of her twin son’s. Monika lost Mathew on 11-24-11 and will forever have a hole in her heart but she has stepped forward to help others. Monika’s group is formed as a support group for parents who have buried a child to addiction or overdose and to encourage education. Monika sheds light on RX drug abuse and Methadone’s overuse and abuse and the deadly results. Monika is a Graphic Designer by profession and screams from the rooftops for education and reform of the drug abuse epidemic as her passion.
