Nick Papadopoulos
Nick Papadopoulos is the General Manager of Bloomfield Farms and the Co-Founder of CropMobster.com. He and his good friends started CropMobster in March 2013 after months of watching perfectly nutritious food go unsold and end up in the compost pile or with the chickens. Knowing that one in six Americans are food insecure, and that over half of the nation’s small farmers struggle to remain profitable, Nick was inspired to build a new model and help create a better way to connect the dots, build community and bring reason to an insanely broken food system. CropMobster has been featured by Larry King, National Public Radio and was selected as the winner of the 2013 Sierra Nevada Innovation Challenge. Prior to working on his family’s farm, Nick spent 3 years in the Sonoma and Napa wine business helping lead Vintage Wine Estates‘ philanthropic wine division including the brands Stonefly Vineyards and Burning Hawk Wines. Additionally, he spent many years as senior consultant for Sausalito-based Collaborative Consulting, which focuses on transforming companies and organizations, primarily the F500, to achieve greater levels of performance and profitability. Nick lives in Valley Ford, CA with Jess Flood, his wife of many years.
