Frantisek “Frank” Vrabel, a serial entrepreneur with Silicon Valley experience, is CEO of Prague-based startup Semantic Visions. The world leader in semantic analysis and open source data processing, the firm runs an SAP HANA-based web mining system. Its solution provides an unprecedented view of what is going on in the world at any moment, by rapidly and seamlessly analyzing unstructured content - maximizing 500 million documents and 25 billion metadata elements. Previously, Frank was a founder and CEO of semantic web technology pioneer Newstin, later acquired by Semantic Visions. Acclaimed by the British government as a technology of exceptional potential, Newstin won the 2008 Red Herring Global Award and 2009 Word Summit Award. A world-class mountaineer and extreme skier, Frank has provided strategic advisory for Cubic Defense and leadership for a 40,000-strong Czech government organization. He has dealt with business and political leaders in more than 25 countries.
