Reverend Michael Dowd
Reverend Michael Dowd calls himself America’s evolutionary evangelist. He has dedicated his life to proclaiming the Great News of a sacred view of cosmic, biological, and human evolution. During the 1980s and 1990s, Dowd pastored three United Church of Christ congregations, worked with conservative and liberal religious leaders across America on environmental, peace, and justice issues, and managed government-funded Sustainable Lifestyle Campaigns on both coasts. Since 2002, he has lived entirely on the road with his wife, Connie Barlow, an acclaimed science writer. Michael’s bestselling book, Thank God for Evolution, was endorsed by 6 Nobel prize scientists and spiritual leaders as well.
