New York City native, Michael Schoen always wanted to report the news. Interested both news and radio from an early age, the idea of making a living with his voice was tantalizing to Michael. Graduating from Queens College of the New York City University, Michael’s career path has taken him from broadcasting all-news radio in the Philadelphia, Los Angeles and New York markets to newscasts on two national networks, RKO radio network and CBS news. He has been a beat reporter as well as a war correspondent, and in the past few decades, has covered some of the nation’s biggest stories from the Gulf War to political campaigns to momentous courtroom moments. Today, Michael anchors the news at CBS radio in New York.
