Todd Philips

Todd Philips has more than 17 years of executive management experience in both public and private sectors. Todd is the Director of Economic Development and Policy for the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce. He oversees the work of 3 Chamber committees and 2 subcommittees while assisting the President and CEO accomplish the goals set by the Board of Directors. He served as the Director of Governmental Relations and Legislative Affairs at the San Diego Workforce Partnership overseeing the agency’s governmental relations strategy, labor market research, regulatory compliance procedures, and served as the chief liaison to 3 boards of directors. He also served with the San Diego Housing Commission as Director of Policy and Public Affairs. Todd directed 2 successful political campaigns, has worked for CNN, Rice University’s Jesse H Jones School of Management and the American Arbitration Association. In 2007 he was named to San Diego Metropolitan Magazine’s 40 Under 40, among other honors.
