Rona is the author of a blog titled bisforbananascisforcancer.wordpress.com Her blog shares the concept of understanding the emotions and psychological challenges that women meet on the journey of breast cancer as well as other useful information. Rona’s views as a patient who had followed the New Age cancer myths and the promises of the ‘cure’; to her integration and acceptance of conventional medicine, serve as a useful window for anyone going through the experience of cancer. Although currently clear of cancer – she continues to face challenges and medical decisions about prevention of recurrence. Rona lives in the UK. Her passion is music, in particular piano and her work is in IT. Her greatest setback could have been the loss of use of her arm flowing a mastectomy; however she has made her way through the maze and is once again playing classical piano; with two hands.
