After more than 30 years with Kraft Foods, where he was appointed Director of Diversity for Kraft Foods North America in January 2001, Jim Norman now works as a human resources and diversity consultant for organizations seeking effective, innovative and inclusive culture change. Jim’s extensive field human resources experience included union and non-union assignments and two plant closures. At Kraft, he worked to expand the definition of diversity and develop strategies to advance the diversity agenda, align resources to support and drive Kraft Foods’ excellence strategies, and build upon the recognized best diversity practices. In 2012, with the Kraft Foods Group launch, Jim was appointed Vice President Diversity and Community Involvement. He has served as President of the Employment Management Association Foundation, Vice President-at-Large for the Employment Management Association, and on the Advisory Council for the American Institute for Managing Diversity.
