Frank Jaworski
I am the father of two sons, Joseph who is 22 and heart healthy and Alexander who is 19 and was diagnosed after birth with HLHS or hypoplastic left heart syndrome. My wife Anna and I went through two open-heart surgeries with Alex before his first birthday and a third when Alex was 17. We have been happily married for 27 years. We live in central Texas where I work as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. My wife Anna is the author and publisher of several books written for the congenital heart defect (CHD) community and I have assisted her as illustrator and editor. I am also the Vice President of Baby Hearts Press and the Vice President of the nonprofit organization that we founded called Hearts Unite the Globe. I am an avid supporter and advocate for the congenital heart defect community.
