Rob Friedman has over 25 years’ experience in the environmental, health and safety (EHS) field. Rob joined Siemens Corporation in 1991 and has held a variety of technical and management positions for Siemens Corporation, Siemens Medical Solutions and now Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. Rob is currently Sr. Principal, EHS for Siemens Healthcare where he provides technical and strategic EHS support to Siemens Healthcare businesses. Rob also co-chairs the global Siemens Healthcare Product-Related EHS Protection Team as well as having global responsibilities covering EHS management systems and auditing. Rob represents Siemens Healthcare in ISO, IEC and ANSI standards activities, and is the convener of the IEC TC111 Work Group that developed the IEC 62474 material declaration international standard that was issued in March 2012. Rob has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a MS degree in Environmental Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
