Ashley Schiavone
Ashley is a board certified and WA state licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and massage practitioner. Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Michigan in biopsychology with a focus on neuroscience research. She graduated from Bellevue School of Massage and earned dual master degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. While at Bastyr, Ashley received training in diverse clinical settings, as well as traveling to China in 2010 to continue her education in Chinese Herbal Therapy. Ashley completed externships with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shu Guang and Long Hua hospitals in China. Ashley Schiavone EAMP, LA.c., LMP, honors the unique partnership of the human body and nature. She focuses on empowering her patients, educating them about health in order for them to achieve and sustain their most vibrant picture of well-being. Ashley is trained in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). She incorporates these skills with Chinese herbal therapy, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dietary education to address the many layers of health. She incorporates deep tissue work, Craniosacral Therapy and additional modalities within acupuncture sessions. By integrating her background in western science with the philosophy of eastern medicine, Ashley is able to look at health from many angles.
