Arnie Thomas
Arnie Thomas, President & CEO of A Thomas Group LLC, followed the path of two of his passions, politics & relationships and accepted an opportunity to work for a Washington Post Corporation company - LEGI-SLATE. For 15 years he worked for the first online company tracking legislation & members on Capitol Hill. In the 2000, Arnie helped start a new wireless legislative company in DC called GalleryWatch. In 2007, Arnie became SVP for internal & external client relationships, became a member of the Executive Committee and consulted the Economist Intelligence Unit. In June, 2012 Arnie retired as SVP for Client Relationships with CQ Roll Call to start his own company A Thomas Group, LLC – A mentoring and leadership company for those who want to make a difference. Arnie also writes a column for a Capitol Hill Blog, Cloture Club under Every Day Mentor, gives talks nationally, and serves on the Board of Running Start, a nonprofit that educates and supports young women to run for politics.
