Richard Edwards
Richard Edwards established his reputation as a research analyst in 2003 and is now a principal analyst at Ovum. The “knowledge worker” and the “future of work” are the primary focus of his research stream, where his knowledge and expertise extend across the areas of enterprise collaboration, knowledge management, social business, and the consumerization of corporate IT. Richard has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry covering a range of industry sectors, including local government, pharma, life sciences, finance, and civil engineering. He has authored a number of in-depth Ovum reports and contributed to reports relating to information security management, business intelligence, and IT governance. Prior to becoming an analyst, Richard was a technology management consultant with Capgemini, where his role involved advising multinational clients on a range of matters relating to enterprise content management and knowledge worker strategy.
