Ken Swilling

Ken Swilling, a Toccoa, Ga native helped the Yellow Jackets to 16-game winning streak that stretched from 1989 and 1990. This consensus All-America selection anchored the 1990 National Championship Yellow Jackets and finished his career with 13 interceptions, 267 tackles, the second highest by a Tech defensive back in history. Ken was selected to the ACC’s 50th Anniversary team and he was inducted into Georgia tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. Despite only playing in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns for one season, he still remains the most recognizable and praised sports figure in Georgia Tech history.
