Terri Cady

Terri Cady, Community Education and Outreach Director for Disability Network/Mid-Michigan, has worked to create independent facilitation as a real option for person-centered planning (PCP) throughout Michigan since 2005. She has developed, implemented and monitored contracts for facilitating PCP in six counties. Terri is a PCP trainer and an advocate at the local and state levels for long-term care options and accessibility for all citizens. From the grassroots level, she has worked with Veterans Affairs, Community Mental Health, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Michigan Works!, Michigan Office of Services to the Aging, and others and continues to develop opportunities to enhance services for individuals across central Michigan. Terri offers regular presentations in the community and at professional conferences about disability awareness, the Americans with Disabilities Act, PCP and other related topics and is a certified trainer in the ADA Trainer Network.
