Yelizaveta Nersesova

Yelizaveta Nersesova is a Russian artist who was born in Iran. Her childhood years were spent in Zambia, the Soviet Union and Texas. After receiving her BFA she got an MFA in studio art from Southern Methodist University and an MA in art history from University of North Texas. Since then she has participated in various exhibitions and taught studio art and art history at several academic institutions, including University of Texas at Dallas. In addition to pursuing a career in art, for nine years Nersesova taught yoga and meditation classes at the Dallas Yoga Center in Dallas, Texas. In particular, she has focused on Sound Healing Meditation and its potential for creating harmony on the physical, mental, and emotional levels and in turn, facilitating the connection to one’s creative voice. As a teacher, Yelizaveta strives to empower each person to develop self-healing techniques, exposing them to various ancient and modern tools that can help them to evolve and thrive.
