Bob Danzig
Bob Danzig went from foster child to CEO of Hearst Newspapers and is a professional speaker. His stellar career began as a teenage office boy at Albany, N.Y. Times Union, 19 years later, he was later named Publisher of that newspaper and culminating as CEO and President of all Hearst Newspapers. He authored The Leader Within You and 8 other books. Bob is the Dean of The Hearst Management Institute, the Corporation’s Leadership Enhancement program. He was awarded Journalism fellowship to Stanford University and taught The Confidence Course at New School University in NYC. He was named to Speakers Hall of Fame in 2007, is the first recipient of National Speaker’s Association Philanthropist of the Year Award and first recipient of Champion for Children award from the Child Welfare League of America, the nation’s largest and oldest child focused nonprofit and awarded the Beacon of Integrity from Business Ethics Alliance.
