Shirley Calla

Shirley Calla has held fashion design and apparel merchandising positions with Koret, Notables, Calvin Klein Sport, and served as Executive Vice President, Merchandise and Design with the Kellwood brand Jax. A teacher on the Faculty of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) starting in 1998, she is a member of the National Apparel Affinity Group, post-secondary educators in fashion design, marketing and manufacturing. She has been involved in curriculum development for KPU programs and currently teaches in the Bachelor of Design in Fashion & Technology Program, part of the new Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design, named for the founders of lululemon. Shirley is studying in the Master of Education Program focusing on Creativity, Collaboration and Critical Thinking at Simon Fraser University, expanding on her unique combination of industry and educational experiences.
