Kim "Daisy" Nelson
Kim "Daisy" was born to cook! She was taught at an early age by both her grandmothers and great aunt Daisy, after whom her company is named. A graduate of Wofford College, Kim has been in the food business for over 30 years. Being in the food business all started while working in the kitchen and waiting tables. Daisy Cakes began in June 2009. She and her mother bake and frost each 4-layer cake. The cakes are always available to take home or they can be ordered and shipped. Kim and her Daisy Cakes were cast in the ABC hit show "Shark Tank". Since then, her business has sky-rocketed! Along with the help of her business partner, Barbara Corcoran, many opportunities have come her way. She has been on ABC World News, Today Show, The Taste and QVC. Daisy Cakes have also been featured as a prize on "The Price Is Right" and "Wheel of Fortune". These delicious Daisy Cakes follow their blue ribbon tradition, shipped direct-from her kitchen to yours!
