Meredith Lyons
An occupational therapist since 2001 and a driving rehabilitation specialist since 2008, Meredith Lyons is the owner and chief operating officer of Baker Driving Rehabilitation and she serves on two older driver safety task forces in Maryland. Ms. Lyons has spoken to various groups about driver safety and driver rehabilittion. She has presented to a wide variety of groups, including the Alzheimer’s association, area high school students, a Stroke Symposium, a Driver Safety Symposium, and as a part of the Dave Serio’s You Auto Know radio program. She has also been a featured writer on TheDementiaQueen.com and iSeniorSolutions.com. Ms. Lyons has had a wide range of occupational therapy experiences with focus primarily in treating patients with neurological disorders and visual impairments. She is also an author and creator of the Multifaceted Instrumental Activity of Daily Living Performance Assessment, which she presented at an annual American Occupational Therapy Association conference.
