Dr. Rosary O’Neill Harzinski
I live in Rhinebeck with my husband, Robert Harzinski and have recently published my researched book on Mardi Gras: New Orleans Carnival Krewes: The History, Spirit and Secrets of Mardi Gras by The History Press in 2014. I am currently working on a TV series option for a 'royal' New Orleans family entitled New Orleans. I am the author of 15 plays published by Samuel French, Inc., the most recent of which, Marilyn/God will premiere at the West End Theatre at 263 W. 86th Street, NYC on November 6 -16, 2014. Previously, I was Professor of Speech and Drama, Loyola University; founder of the Southern Repertory Theatre, and recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship that allowed me to teach in Europe. I also found time to write a college textbook: The Actor's Checklist: A Guide for Creating the Complete Character, published as a 4th edition in the winter of 2013. This text is used as a basic text in more than 50 colleges and universities throughout the country. www.rosaryoneill.com;rosaryo@aol.com
