Barry Nixon
Prior to founding PreemploymentDirectory.com, W. Barry Nixon earned a Masters in Human Resource Development, NY University, & a BS from Northeastern University. Barry has received advanced education human resource management, organizational development programs, & earned certifications in Workplace Security, POST Background Screening & Safe Hiring. He serves as Co-Chair of the International Committee for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). Barry is co-author of Background Screening & Investigations: Managing Hiring Risk from the HR and Security Perspectives, authors PI Magazine’s Background Screening Column, publishes both The Background Buzz, a newsletter for the screening industry, & the Annual Background Screening Industry Buyers Guide. He has appeared on ABC, MSNBC, Wall Street Journal Radio, UK’s National Talk Radio, WGST News Radio’s Job Talk. He is a past recipient of Security Magazine’s prestigious Top 25 Most Influential People in Security.
