Dr Robert LeFever
Dr Robert Lefever graduated from Cambridge University. As a family doctor he created the first rehab in the world to treat all addictive behaviour and - non medicinally - the underlying anxiety and depression. He had 120 staff and treated over 5,000 inpatients. Having learned how to deal with his own addiction, he now helps others to deal with theirs. Choosing to work on his own as a counsellor, Dr Lefever encourages individuals and companies to look at the consequences of their behaviour and gain insight into the causes within themselves. He identifies specific addictive characteristics and aims to restore physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social health. He has lectured and run seminars all over the world, especially in the USA. He has written 23 books on various aspects of addictive and compulsive behaviour. He is a regular speaker and broadcaster on radio and television. He and his wife, Pat, share a passion for opera.
