Mike Ursta
My name is Mike Ursta, and I am a father of two wonderful boys. Nick who is four and Dom who is one. I am a computer programmer for Dell and a crazy hockey fan. I am also the husband of a beautiful cancer survivor Katy. In February of 2014 my life was turned upside down when we received the call no one ever wants to get. Someone you love is diagnosed with cancer. When I got that news, I felt scared, sad, sick, and helpless. Knowing that there was nothing I could do but be there for my wife as she battled this disease, I decided to start a fundraising effort to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Through this effort, it gave me the strength to help her battle and to also be there for people who will battle this disease in the future.
