Dr. Lorina Shinsato
Dr. Lorina Shinsato is a naturopathic physician, acupuncturist, and owner of Primavita Family Medicine. She is a graduate of Bastyr University and has extensive training in the art and science of natural medicine. She completed clinical rotations in community clinics, a natural health clinic, a cancer clinic, a regional trauma hospital, and two hospitals in Shanghai, China. A BS in Molecular Biology and several years of laboratory research allows her to know the benefits and limitations of clinical studies. Her love for herbal medicine and plants is reflected in her passion for using herbs in treating her patients. Her previous training in bodywork assists her in treating musculoskeletal injuries. Most of all her awareness of the emotional basis of illness and her honoring of one’s connection with their body, and what brings them joy allows her to guide individuals into a harmonious relationship of flow where they take personal responsibility for the factors that sustain their soul.
