Christina Machamer, wine and culinary programs manager at B Cellars winery in Napa, is a devout food and wine lover. Chef Machamer began her culinary career with an apprenticeship with world renowned Chef Larry Forgione at An American Place and classes at Forest Park Community College in St. Louis. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Machamer obtained a position as sous chef at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in West Hollywood. Machamer also studied wine and viticulture at the CIA Greystone in Napa Valley and passed the certified sommelier exam with The Court of Master Sommeliers, based in London. To better showcase the versatility and depth of B Cellars wines, Chef Machamer was brought on board to develop and lead expanded interactive food and wine tasting programs for winery guests, with the goal of demonstrating through sensatory experience the flexibility and depth of B Cellars wines.
