Neil Gaydon
Neil Gaydon became the President and CEO of SMART Technologies just about 2 years ago. He is an innovative, results oriented leader, focused on delivering exceptional growth in highly competitive markets and turnaround situations. Neil recently held the position of CEO for Pace Plc., the world’s largest provider of digital television technologies to the Pay TV industry and led the company in a major turnaround with a ten-fold increase in revenues (over $2 billion in 2010). Prior to Pace, Neil held senior roles in several high end technology companies and his hallmark has been defining and executing strategy, creating effective structure and changing business culture on a global scale. Neil is a graduate of Harvard Business School in the Advanced Management Program. Personal awards include 2009 Institute of Directors ‘Director of the Year’, 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award winner and 2008 TechMARK Personality of the Year
