Larry Van Horn, Ph.D.
Larry Van Horn, Ph.D. is the executive director of health affairs and an associate professor of management (economics) at Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management. Prior to joining Owen Graduate School of Business, Van Horn served as associate professor of economics and management at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester, where he created and served as director of the Institute for Health Care Management. Van Horn is a recipient of the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Fellow, awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He earned a master’s of public health , a master’s in business administration from the University of Rochester and a doctorate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
