Libertarian candidate for West Virginia House of Delegates, Ed Olesh, currently works at a fisheries lab at WVU. After high school, Ed joined the army and served in four deployments, two in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. Ed earned several medals for his service. Ed believes that being a representative is a service one does for the people of his state and in running for office, he wants to bring his state back to an era where personal liberty is celebrated, economic freedom brings prosperity, and small government means small government! If elected, Ed will support legislation the end the inventory tax in West Virginia which will benefit small businesses. He will work to cut state taxes and state spending which will return to the people of West Virginia the money they earn. And he will work to end the war on marijuana and other drugs so that funds to crime leaders will be cut off and taxes from constituents will no longer be spent on a wasted and counterproductive effort.
