Lori Schneider is an international speaker, Everest and ‘7 Summits’ mountaineer, author, and advocate for those living with disabilities. Her inspirational story of overcoming adversity offers lessons for business and for life. Lori awoke one day with numbness in 50% of her body. When the crippling shock of her multiple sclerosis diagnosis wore off, Lori accelerated her love of travel and set out to climb the highest peak on each continent. Lori became the first person with MS to summit Everest, completing the 7 Summits. Her story empowers others to climb beyond their own labels and preconceived limitations and live their dreams. She reminds us that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things! In 2011, Lori led a group of uniquely abled climbers to the top of Africa, on a trip that challenged the body, mind, and spirit. Her organization, Empowerment Through Adventure, inspires others to take their own leap of faith, and climb beyond their limits. Learn more at LoriSchneider.net.
