Kayli Martin has always had a passion for thinking about the big questions in life, who are we, why are we here, and given that we are here, how should we live. In her academic work as a philosopher, she focused on ethics and more specifically the question of how should we live, meaning how should we treat each other. During her academic career, she developed an answer to this question that is easy to understand and to use as a guiding principle. It does not give specific answers to specific situations, instead, it gives a lens through which to look at a situation. For over 20 years, Kayli has applied this principle to real life situations both as a manager of a large department and as a small business owner. She has successfully taught this principle to people who come to her with questions regarding troubling situations facing them. These people have found it to be a helpful code for their lives.
