Spring Bank is an independent, South Bronx based community development bank, founded in late 2007.

Spring Bank works to set a new standard for community banks nationwide, while providing affordable, mainstream financial products to under banked people and businesses throughout New York City.

Spring Bank works closely with a network of non-profit community based organizations to efficiently deliver the bank’s services to clients who would otherwise remain outside of the financial services mainstream. These efforts are centered on reducing transaction costs, building assets, and increasing access to responsibly underwritten and priced consumer loan products.

Brian is also a founding partner at ArgoFund.com, an recently launched online lending marketplace focused on responsible, local small business lending.

Among other initiatives, Brian is a founding director of the Frederick Douglass Blvd. Alliance, a non-profit association of stakeholders committed to the economic development of the Frederick Douglass Blvd. commercial corridor in Harlem. He also serves on the credit committee of Business Outreach Center Capital (BOC), a leading New York micro lender, and frequently contributes to access to capital panels for entrepreneurs and small business.

Brian holds a B.A. from Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA;, and an M.B.A from Baruch College, CUNY, New York, NY.
